Two in our party had poached ling cod--too salty. I love salt but my grilled salmon was too salty. Another two could not finish their french onion soup--too salty.
Portions small. Prices ridiculously high. Service oh so slow: 1 ½ hrs. When I complained, server rudely said "Well, we did bring an appetizer" (deep-fried wantons which I could not eat). Because we were more than six, 18%
tip was automatically applied. Server did not even try to earn it.
My family is now make Penticton an annual stop each summer. This Canada Day proved to be better then last year. I have two young kids and even though they don't have a childrens menu they made chicken fingers from scratch and they were the best I've seen. So simple but moist, you can tell that they used fresh chicken. My wife is a bit of a picky eater and she was able to navigate the menu and find pasta that suited her tastes.
Very nice to see Quality in a small town. Great...
Very nice to see Quality in a small town. Great wine list, they even had some that were aged by the glass.
Nice fresh local vegetables, I think they were organic. I had the lamb confit and my wife had a Halibut cheek fettucini in a Lobster cream....Excellent night with friends.
one third menu was not available, The food was less than adequate, the wine was as much as three times the retail price.
Disapointed and embarrassed with out of town guests.
NEVER AGAIN!
