Had an elderly man wait for 45 minutes. A can came after he had called for one and just took a random different person leaving this elderly man waiting. I called A1 and told them to make sure whoever is picking people up to make sure it’s the right adress that was called for that they are suppose to bring people too. Just sad….45 minutes really???
used this taxi today and this driver ripped us off. dont use this company.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I called early morning last week for a cab and asked two questions. How much it would cost me from point A to point B and How long it would take for a cab to get to my location. As i was asking the second question the male dispatcher started to scream at me, saying I ask too many questions and then hung up on me. I was in shock and couldn't believe I was treated like that from a taxi company. A1 Taxi should definitely take this serious for their business and retrain
I can honestly say that I have never encountered such disrespect and rudeness in my life. We will never use this cab company again. I even tried calling the dispatcher to sort out an issue around payment and if possible, he was ruder than the driver. Never again.
driver was rude and impatient. he used the f word twice in front of my kids. he kept complaining about doing school fares and how much he didn't like it. he tried to suggest that I exit the cab before I got into the school yard because he didn't like the traffic going into the school. he was extremely rude, he screamed at the crossguard lady because he thought she was not letting the cars go fast enough. I don't think ill take A1 again
Don't even want to give that one star.. the worst customer service and despatcher I have ever spoken to.. sooo rude.. never in my life I am calling them again. I was reading the reviews and almost everyone said the same but still no change..
Excellent service. Soft spoken drivers. Not very quick service but still not bad. Much better than bus. I prefer A one taxi instead of buses at night. ?

Very poor and unprofessional service by staff ..I would never recommend this cab service . The dispatcher was so rude and hung up on me !! Disgusting service I have ever gone through! I got late from my appointment just coz of these unprofessional staff!!

I just moved to the area, and called A1 for a price quote. The agent treated me as though I was bothering her, and made no effort to disguise her unhappy mood. She yelled across the room to another agent in order to confirm a price quote. She placed me on hold without notice, so that I was left wondering what was wrong with the phone line. I hung up and called back three separate times. When I asked her to let me know the next time I would be placed on hold, she raised her voice, and began yelling at me that she had to put me on hold to get the information I wanted. I responded by saying that I understood she needed to place me on hold, but that I would appreciate being told I was being put on hold. She continued raising her voice, yelling at me rudely, and finally hung up. I called back, and asked for a manager. The gentleman who answered refused to allow me to speak to a manager. When I asked the gentleman for his name, he asked me "Why do you want to know my name?" I responded that I wanted his name in order to confirm the agent with whom I was speaking, and that it was customary for customer service representatives to provide a name to customers who requested it. He refused to give me his name, and began to also yell at me on behalf of the woman who originally spoke with me. I let them know I would never call back. I have taken taxis for years, and I have never been confronted with such a rude, disrespectful, crass, and shockingly unprofessional staff. If you believe you deserve conflict-free, professional treatment as a paying customer, please take your business elsewhere. * this review is based on my personal experience, and personal opinion.
