Founded in June 2013, The Clay Emporium is a paint-your-own-pottery store where visitors of all ages can drop by and paint a piece of pottery or have fun attending a party, workshop or special event. Peter and Jackie first got the idea in 2003 when they took a trip to Halifax with their daughter, Grace, and saw a similar store there. Now they and the store’s employees offer a calming environment to let visitors’ creative juices flow.
