Something happened to designer Lorraine Kitsos after she gave birth to her second child. After studying business in university, she unleashed her creative side and began making children's clothing while living in Hong Kong and travelling across Asia. She was inspired by the bright, bold colours and patterns of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo, as well as the enchanted fairytale books she would read to her children.
"I starting selling my clothes to friends and family, and then it grew organically from there," she explains. She named her label Redfish Kids Clothing, inspired by the colours and patterns of Hong Kong's ubiquitous koi fish.
