Lakeview Homes

I stayed at lakeview homes this past summer with my family. We have 5 kids, plus my parents and a visiting nefew! The house was perfect for us, spacious for all the kids, (and even a ping pong table!) clean and such amazing view! We had such a blast going into the backyard for early morning kayaking before heading out for the day, and usually again when we came home. IT was such a special trip, and being on the lake really added to our vacation. My kids still talk about it months later- we hope

Best place to Stay in Nanaimo, You would not be disappointed

I am a regular at Lakeview Vacation Homes. I have had the pleasure of staying at Lakeview Vacation Homes since they opened over 14 years ago. The incredible hostess treated her guests as family. The accommodations are A1. Second to none. I kid you not. Whether you are doing a locum at the local hospital, or here for a short term contract, or wanting somewhere to just relax...This is the place. An amazing home away from home. I know you would not be disappointed with your stay! The service a 10!!

What we enjoyed most about our stay at Garden Paradise Home, was feeling at home as soon as we walked in the door! The owner, Karin, greeted us on arrival and was so welcoming and helpful. She provided all the little extras that made our stay so enjoyable. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this home; we enjoyed our stay and we will be back. Thank you Karin and Lakeview Homes!

The Garden Paradise house has a lot of charm and comfort. It is spacious, well-equipped and the beds were superb. And only a short walk to dining or pub, groceries and Long Lake's swimming area. We enjoyed walking the perimeter and bird-watching with our dog. Karin was very responsive and eager to ensure a happy stay. Will definitely rent from her again on our next visit!

Very comfortable and central to all amenities and waterfront activities at the lake. Very kind and generous host.

Excellent place to stay for business or pleasure!

We have a company project at Nanaimo for over 6 months, Company has booked Lakeview homes for staffs to stay during the project. We all felt like home when we were at Lakeview.The facilities was nice and clean. Very spacious, fully equip at kitchen, 3 out of 4 bed room has the full bathroom, excellent location, easy access for everything. We have a wonderful time there! Staff has been excellent and helpful!

This is a great house. Very spacious, clean, full equipped. There are two wonderful patios for relaxing and enjoying the waterfront view. Karin and her team are very easy to work with and very responsive. The driveway is a little tricky, and there is some road noise from the busy street, but neither would keep me from recommending this house or staying here again.

Rented two homes ...

Rented two homes from Karin for my family from England attending my Daughter's wedding just down the road. Location was perfect, homes were fabulous, Karin was very accommodating with fitting into our timetable. Could not have found a better fit for proximity to the wedding and taking care of 13 people with no pressures. Loved everything about it.

Always the best

For about 8 yeas now, We have stayed in many of Karen's properties - either just the two of us, but usually with out entire softball team. Karen's properties are always well situated, clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay at. Although we don't always get the property we want (Lakeside!!!) we completely understand the logic why, yet we - and our team - are always very comfortable. We love our yearly visits to Nanaimo - and it's a pleasure dealing with Karen.

Wonderful Vacation Home

This home has it all!! We spent a week in the home with my husband, daughter and myself, it was perfect. Located so close to the lake, in a quiet neighborhood the home has plenty of room and the backyard incredible. We had family visit us there and commented on the great place. I would recommend Karin and her properties to anyone! Thanks for the great vacation spot and will book it for our future trips to Nanaimo!

Hospitality at its best ....

I have recently had the privilege of staying in one ofthe Lakeview Homes in Nanaimo. It definitely was not by accident that I chose this facility, as I had in the past had the pleasure of staying at the Whitehouse on Long Lake on several occasions in the past which was owned by Karin. I thought the service, accommodations, friendliness could not get any better than the Whitehouse. Then I was once again amazed at the homes at Lakeview. Karin and her staff exceeded my expectations. The house was immaculate, warm and inviting, a place where I could leave work behind and just absorb everything this area had to offer. The dock was perfect to sit at and have a picnic lunch. Watching the rowers in the morning was fantastic. I saw a beaver making it’s way up the lake, and even had a quick glance at an eagle. I was deeply saddened when my vacation came to an end and I had to go back to reality. Karin’s smile and hospitality takes second place to none. I will return next summer. Excellent accommodation

Lakeside was a great home for us to stay at while on a golfing trip. The view was fantastic, so close to the lake, the house was a treat after our long days on the golf course. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck at night, having a BBQ, The location was so close to everything. The home is well maintained and very clean. Thanks for everything. See you in September. Lakeview was outstanding

I have had the pleasure of staying at Lakeview Homes in two different properties. Both were excellent central locations, the homes was beautiful and well maintained. The close proximity to the lake was enjoyed by my family and easy access. I appreciated the prompt service and friendly staff. The price was very reasonable for the accommodation provided.
