Custom ordered an elaborate cake and it was absolutely fabulous. Everyone was raving how delicious it was! Thank you for all your hard work, it was truly a stunning cake. Excellent service, very accommodating!
I bought 20 assorted cupcakes for a birthday party at the Westview Bakery in North Vancouver today. I got to work and put them in the fridge, pulled them out 5 hours later and they were all crumbly and extremely dry.I tried to return the 10 left over, but i would get back half the money. I said that was not good enough and asked to see the owner. When he came out he accused me of leaving them out of the fridge and that it was my fault that they were dry,I told him that they were in the fridge all day.
I asked him to try one, he wouldn't try one in front of me, he took the plate to the back and returned with a cupcake, not even sure if it was one of the ones i returned, and then proceeded to shout around the store for other customers to come try the cupcake and let them tell me it was not dry. I told him that was poor business, he continued his display and then asked the staff to try it.
He was very rude and obnoxious, not admitting that he sold me a poor product and would only give me half of my money back. I was furious after his actions and said i would not leave until he paid me back in full. He got very mad and yelled at his staff member to pay me in full them he went into the back room again.
All I can say is that this was one of the most disrespectful, rude, and obnoxious displays of business I have ever seen.
