Rude, cold, condescending, and unprofessional. Misdiagnosed my pet in hopes of running all sorts of tests, and pushing an overnight stay and medication which led to health failing quicker and death within hours of bringing him hope. Seems very heartless and greedy. Lack of compassion and ethics.

DO NOT GO HERE! Went in with info from the animal hospital that her puncture wounds were left open to drain and heal on their own. They were scabbed over completely. The vet proceeded to split open her scabbed over wound with his bare fingers and tell us the information that we had received from the previous vet was all wrong. It seemed to us he was very driven by providing us information that would make him money without the best interest of my dogs health in mind. Awful experience.

I was looking for a vet in Vancouver that had experience with Sphynx cats, and found 1st Ave. was quite knowledgeable regarding Sphynx; Sphynx have a few different needs from other cats. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very down to earth. The equipment is great (love the X Ray machine). It's clear they are all pet lovers. Dr. Dhunna is a very nice vet who takes his time and LISTENS. He has excellent knowledge and skills. I recommend them highly!

Bad vet- not recommended

Facilities were clean. Prices are attractive. Service is the problem. Vet needs to listen more, talk less about money and his business, and care more about the animals. If he cares more about his patients, the money and business will come. Overall disappointing experience.
