LaSalle has the worst taxi service. Called for a cab last night at 2am, was told it would be 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. After about an hour I tried calling back several times. No answer. Finally someone answered 15 minutes later. He said it would be another 45 minutes. I told him we'd already been waiting for almost an hour and a half. He said that there was nothing he could do. Vet cab could've been there in 10 minutes but they're not allowed to pick up in Lasalle because it's LA taxis territory. So LA taxi has monopolized Lasalle even though they don't have the capacity to properly serve Lasalle. Something's wrong here.
