Stopped in for lunch with my wife one day. I hadn't been there since I was a kid (Missle Command was the hot video game there at the time, to give you an idea of how long ago it was). Wife was a little bit tentative about eating there, but I managed to get her in the door.
We were quickly greeted by our friendly waitress who took our drink orders. She came back with our drinks and then took our meal orders. We both ordered the steak sub, mine with fries and my wife's with the caeser salad. The food came back reasonably fast, and was nice and hot.
When we were finished our meals, my wife mentioned that it was probably the best steak sub she'd ever had. I would agree, it was really good. Not overly fancy, just nice ingredients cooked well resulting in a great end product.
Have been back several time since.
I love Clancy's! Mostly everything on the menu is under 10 bucks and I have always had great meals. Portions are massive and the place has a nice 'Cheers-like' atmosphere.
The food was good and the establishment is a nice bar/ tavern style, it is a dark place with about six televsions, peanut shells all over the floor, the other patrons in the place were your everyday normal well rounded people (very polite)
The only problem was the waitress in which messed up my order and then took almost fifteen minutes to return with my bill and doggie bag, she had a smile and seemed nice but was not at all prompt.

We keep coming back and probably always will, but the food is hit and miss lately. The chicken on the Bluegrass was so dry I almost choked, fries were good, pizza was good once we got it home and cooked it. Prices are still really good and Angie our server is so sweet.

This place is great to bring the guys to watch a hockey or footballl game. The kind of place where the peanuts are free and shells are all over the floor. I would not reccomend this for a first, second, third, fourth, fifth.... date. Pretty good za and wings too.
