Best pizza ever. We will definitely be ordering again.
Incredibly great tasting pizza, best in Thunder Bay.
Easily the best pizza in town! I have never been disappointed with a pizza or walk in slices from Franki's.
Forget pizza tonight try a panzerottti feed 2 if u can eat half a pizza ;)
Frankie's pizza is the best pizza in Thunder Bay. I've never had any of the experiences others posted. Keep up the great service and awesome food. :)
I visited this restaurant a couple years ago and it was great, but I was pretty disappointed with how our meal went tonight! First off, there was only one server and about 5 different families in there for dinner, needless to say service was very slow. Our server was pretty friendly, but definitely not on the ball. I had a garden salad for a starter, and I must say, it was the best salad I've ever had. The vegetables were all very fresh, and the dressing was great too. Unfortunately this is the only good thing I have to say about the food. I ordered a vegetarian panzarotti, and when it came it was very crisp/a little burnt on the outside, and a big doughy mess on the inside. Same with the one my sister ordered. I was really disappointed to see that they use canned mushrooms too, I actually had to dissect all the mushrooms out just to finish my meal. My diet Coke was even gross! Very watered down. The other two meals apparently weren't too bad, but nothing spectacular either.. Overall, I don't think I care to visit them again any time soon.
We arrived at 12:30 PM for the all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet started at 12 noon but the tortellini tray was empty and not refilled by the time we left at 1:25 PM. The meatballs were very more filler than meat and the pizza was very tasteless. The girls working the floor were attentive and friendly but not enough for me to ever visit for lunch again.
I absolutely love eating here. The food is exceptional and tastes even better once you realise how cheap it was! Service was impeccable!
This might be the BEST pizza I've ever eaten. Cute staff and friendly, fast service make this Pizzeria a force to be reckoned with.
We've been ordering takeout for two or three months once a week and have had good success, but the last two weeks they've messed up the toppings (my family is cheese intolerant) and one out of two times, overcharged me. Generally, the pizza is really good, but the organization and service leaves something to be desired.
This is strictly for the Memorial Ave. location. (I'm not sure about the Regina St, but freinds tell me it's better there.) This was three stikes you're out. The first time I went there was shortly after they opened the new location. The pizza was great, the service sucked! I was told 30-40 minutes, it took over an hour and a half! I chalked it up to the fact that they had just opened. The pizza was good so I figured I'd go again. I wanted Pepperoni, mushroom, extra cheese. I asked if they had fresh or canned mushrooms. I was told they had both. I specified fresh. They said pick it up in 20-30 minutes. Based on past experience in went in 45 and I still had to wait an additional 15 minutes! When I got home, I realized the pizza had canned mushrooms. But, I was tired and hungry and wasn't going to wait for another. I figured I'd give them one more try. This time we had it delivered and the pizza was only 20 minutes late! (can you sense the sarcasm). There was a handful of bacon covering about 30 percent of the pizza, it was burnt, and the special was so soggy we had to use a spatula to get it out of the box, eat it with a fork, and part of it ended up in the garbage because the cardboard from the box kind of melded to the goo they tried to pass off as crust. Not to mention the canned mushrooms again. A word of advice for Franki. If you have someone else looking after the Memorial store for you, fire them, and look after it yourself!
