Staff is nice but you can count on always standing in line for a while as they always have only one cashier on cash and never fails someone's always holding up the line for lotto tickets. Those people wanting lottery should never go through the same line. They should always have an extra cashier for that. The hours of operation are aweful too. This location does not stay open as long as all other Shoppers locations. That's very bad for business in my opinion!
I have never been so poorly treated by an employee at shoppers drug mart, let alone the location that I received all of my prescriptions for 20 years. My son kicked and spilled his gastric esophageal reflux medication. Not only did the very rude pharmacy attendant (SANDY) refuse to refill the prescription, (after i asked what her name was) she yelled at me and told me to take it up with green shield. Even after I advised her of the pain he would be in after only 1 missed dose and offered my fam doc info do she could discuss with her our options, she continued to yell. I yelled back and decided to go in. After learning that there was no manager, owner, or ACTUAL pharmacist on site, a pharmacist, Kevin, (in training) told me the situation could easily be resolved and would have the script sent today. If the situation could have been resurrected to begin with, I would not have been so angry. However, I do not think Sandy would have treated me better either way. A similar situation happened when I filled a prescription when my son had thrush. REXALL refilled the bottle and there was no issues and I was very impressed with their service. Needless to say, after I speak with the manager/owner, I will NEVER step foot in that place ever again. Rating =
0 stars if I could
These people appear to be deluberately slow and lazy. Takes them 30 minutes to fill a prescription the small neighborhood pharmacy does the same in 5 minutes.
I really like the convenience of my local Shoppers Drug Mart. It is so handy to just drop in for many common needs. I love having a Shoppers close to home.
