JC Madison's Family Restaurant

Very friendly people who can actually cook in this town. I have eaten here several times, and the food nor service has failed yet. Would definitely recommend coming here whether you live in Blaine Lake, or if you are just passing through.

The person who left the nasty critique of the restaurant was commenting on it before this restaurant even opened for business. This is a wonderful family run restaurant where everyone is very friendly, the food is carefully prepared, delicious and presented well. The menu is has something for everyone. The restaurant is newly renovated and is very clean. I recommended this place to anyone travelling through to the lake this summer. Excellent, all the way around! Go there!

Terrible service,...

Terrible service, bad food - I would recommend you keep looking for another place. I am aware that small town SK may not be the place to find amazing food, so I had releastic expectations going in, but this was well below standard. I had a burger, it was burnt and dried out. It tasted and appeard to have been cooked earlier then re-grilled. The bun was also burnt. I had ordered it as burgers are not that hard to get right, I made the wrong choice. The fries lacked seasoning and were greasy. Other members of my group had sandwiches which they said were good, but nothing special. The front end lady came off very grumpy and made it seem as if we were not welcome here; she spilt water on our table with no apologies, there was no greeting when we came in, she raised an eyebrow at me when I asked a question about the menu etc. This may be a 'locals only' type of place.
