I'll never deal with this company again!
I've been dealing with this company for three years. I only purchase oil from this company twice a year as my oil consumption is not high. I liked dealing with them because they are usually prompt on their oil delivery. However, as it turns out, they're even more prompt in retrieving their oil. I called them for delivery and gave them my credit card number yesterday. They delivered their oil today and left a bill. Then, at 5PM today, I got a call from Caroline from their office, saying my visa didn't go through. This seemed strange as my credit limit was more than 10 times the payment amount and I had just used the visa card earlier today and had no problem with it. Caroline re-confirmed the number over the phone, which was correct, and I told her that I'd have to call her back as I was driving to pick up my daughter. I told her that I'd call the visa company and call her back. I called the visa company and found out that Mackenzie Petroleum had used the wrong expiry date, which was why the transaction didn't go through. While I was talking to the visa guy, I got a call from Mackenzie Petroleum again, but I couldn't answer their call as I was busy talking to the visa rep. As soon as I got off the phone, at 6PM, I called Caroline back, but got the machine and left a message. When I got home from a class in the evening, I found out from my husband that he had had visitors from Mackenzie Petroleum at 7PM. They had stopped by to pump out the fuel! So he had to dress up our daughter whom he was putting to bed, and go to the bank to get the cash to pay them. When it was their mistake to begin with, is this the way to treat a loyal customer for three years who's never had any problems with payment? NO thanks Mackenzie Petroleum! We're dealing with another company from now on.
