Wonderful experience. Atmosphere is beautiful, good food, staff is always so friendly. Good deal when they have the early bird special. Went in October. The man that served my family had a darker complexion, very friendly and charismatic! Had a unique name that I wish I could remember. He joked around with us and gave my brother a free dessert for his birthday. Absolutely want to go back and have him serve us again... he was honestly the best waiter Ive ever had.

My husband and I used Pickles & Olives Bistro for our wedding catering this past August. We had a small backyard tent wedding of about 70 people and I am beyond pleased we chose them to prepare our wedding meal. They took such good care of us, preparing beautiful cheese, veggie, and fruit platters along with mini beef wellingtons and other various appetizers. Our group of 4 attended May 24 2013. Started with one of the best ceasar salads we have had in a long time, huge fabulous prime rib with fresh horseradish and finished with an excellent crepe big enough for 4 to share! From start to finish an excellent meal served by very pleasant wait staff. We would highly recommend the Lakeside Bistro. (Holland Landing, ON)

Nice ambience, food quality was good overall, portions were rather small and a tad pricey. Ordered three different beers to get one pint, they were sold out of the first two.

Beautiful little restaurant with the BEST Thai food I've ever tasted. Small, Intimate location - reservations are a good idea. Well worth the drive to Minden, you won't forget this experience. Absolutely incredible. Try the Mango Salad ! Mmmmmm
