I woke up on December 30th, 2010 to a basement flooded in water. It was coming from my furnace. Not just a broken valve - from the main body of the furnace. My basement was a sauna! I called Darryl Struik at Candu Enterprises. Am I glad I did! Darryl came out in less than an hour. After helping me clean up and stop the water, he determined that my old furnace was not fit to repair. It was akin to trying to fix an old black and white TV. It was time for a new furnace. Keep in mind that on December 30th many businesses care closed for the holidays at noon. Darryl was able to source a furnace from his supplier and delivered it quickly. Much to my suprise, Darryl was willing to install my furnace on New Years Day. Not a great way to spend a holiday. He does have a wife and two young children at home after all. He rolled up his sleeves and set to work. The man didn't leave my home until the heat was back on - which was at about 8:00pm. This level of expertise and dedication is hard to come by in this day and age. My new furnace is ultra efficient and my oil consumption is down 35% compared to this time last year.
