Yang's Teppanyaki & Sushi

My favorit Japanese restaurant

Good food, friendly service and it's clean! It's probably single eastern restaurant with shining plates and tables in GTA. I visited it maybe 20 times. ps It could be a long line, so be prepared.

This is one of the best places to eat. Service has never really been a problem, servers are usually nice. The only problem is it is a tad bit expensive. Like you have to pay $3.00 extra to change from salmon fried rice to chicken and from dark meat to white meat, its a cheap way to make money because they know most of the time people will make those changes. But nonetheless great food.

Price changed, menu changed, food quality...

Price changed, menu changed, food quality changed, but only one thing doesn't changed - poor services. I've been there so many times since they are open. Both food and price are accepted. I went there on last Friday. The price had been changed to 22.90 on cash and 23.90 on credit. The menu also changed that the choices are less than before. Food are not good as before. The poor services still the same that they are always missing orders. It is definitely not worst for 22.9. Never go there.

Lacking service

The restaurant is really nice looking and fairly new. The food is up to standard and the teppanyaki was pretty good. They are a bit pricey overall. The service was not very good though, a bit slow. We were trying to use a 10% off coupon we received in the newspaper and they refused to give us the discount b/c we were paying in credit card. However, the coupon never mentioned that it can only be used if paid by cash. I ended up speaking to the manager and they finally let us use the coupon with a credit card. I have noticed that they changed the coupon to cash only now.

Poor service and attitude

The service received was horrible. The staff does not speak english well, and does not respond accordingly. Tried ordering something over the phone a few days later, greeted by same rudeness. Will NOT repeat

Always perfect

It was our anniversary and we wanted to do something special for lunch so we went to this new little restaurant I had heard a few good things about.....after that day we just couldn't seem to stay away. The service is amazing except for the occasional language barrier issues... The chef''s are entertaining (with their tricks) and we have been so much that we always request/ask if David is there because hes our original chef who treated us so well and holds sentimental value for us We also have dinner and just sushi - always happy with service and food portions and quality! WE LOVE YOU YANGS!!!!

This was my worst Sushi experience over the last 5 Years. Very Expensive and the Food was aw....... The Restaurant smelled like Fish.

Great Food. Let me say that again.... G-R-E-A-T F-O-O-D!!!!!! Service was quick, ambiance incredible, taste, texture, freshness......dammit, just go try it!! the best sushi in Ontario!!
