This restaurant has good food - although expensive for what it essentually is - either Enchiladas or Quesadas (which is basically the same thing). I grew up in Guelph and I don't think this place has changed its menu...EVER. I will not go back until they do.
Food was really tasty, and portions are definitely larger than average. Bruschetta with goats cheese excellent, as was the pesto pasta - although a little oily.
I've only eaten at Einstein's once and it was quite a while ago but I feel pressed to discuss my experience. My meal was satisfactory and the service at the time was acceptable, however, I have concerns about the management. My credit card was charged exactly thirty dollars over what I had signed on the final bill, including the tip. After repeated calls to Einstein's manager, she did not return my calls or heed my request to have the charge reversed, even after I offered to show them my copy of the bill. I understand (and hope) that this was likely a mistake or typing error and not deliberate deception, HOWEVER, the manager should have made every effort to call the credit card company and fix the mistake that HER employee made. I had to call Mastercard myself to have the charge reversed. Because of Einstein's questionable accounting practices I will never eat there again. If you decide to eat there, save your receipt!
