... and I dont know why I keep trying. I've had one good experience out of four. This place always seems understaffed and it really shows with the lack of service. With the exception of the garlic cheese bread, the food is just OK. Which is not what I expect for a 23 dollar steak. Overall, the experience and food left a bitter taste in my mouth and I dont think I will be returning.
We went to the location in Richmond Hill. It took half an hour to find parking and half and hour to be seated. The menu changed a while back and it is not as good. If I wanted Asian food I would have went to an Asian restaurant. Why are you serving Asian food???? Some of my favourite dishes are not there anymore. The service is better then the food.
I visited the Jack Astor's in Oshawa. I always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. It's fun fast and fabluous. I would recomend this restaurant to anybody who want to have a good time and good food.
Jack's in toronto is different from smaller cities, it's more upscale but still has that comfortable bar and grill fun atmosphere. I've been too many times to count and have never been disappointed with a single dish. Sit in the lounge if you want a more intimate evening. Service is generally always great with the exception of when it's busy (they might benefit from a few extra staff). Over all I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good dining experience.
