Dee Gaultier was a woman on a mission. “I had heard about Great Lengths hair extensions and just loved the look of them,” recalls Dee Gaultier, owner of The Little House of Great Lengths. “I called them up saying I wanted to buy some hair. They told me I needed to be a licensed hairdresser to be able to purchase the hair and, within two weeks, I started on the journey. I got a job as an assistant at a salon.”
Today, Dee specializes solely in the application of the world-renowned hair extensions. “I studied hairdressing, but only with the intention of doing what I do today. I had no interest in following any other path in the trade.”
Dee says that she was lucky to work at the salon of a perfectionist while training. Some of his ‘magic dust’ rubbed off on her. “I worked with this guy for six years,” she says. “He was very strict and focused when doing extensions. The harder the task is today, the more I love it.”
