Tom had already worked as a barber for 22 years when he and his wife decided to move from Kenora to Whitby. They’d called Kenora home for 28 years, but decided they wanted to be closer to their kids and grandkids. “I really enjoyed living in Kenora, but Whitby’s great too," he says. "It has a nice small-town feel, but it’s not too far from Toronto. It’s a new chapter."
