We would like to thank Dr Cichon for his excellent care out of our Welsh Terrier. Our regular vet could no longer provide treatment for her myasthenia gravis, a debilitating muscle disease. Dr Cichon, along with acupuncture sessions and supplements significantly improved her quality of life. We found Dr Cichon to be very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable handling such a difficult case. Thank you to Kathy, too.

I was very impressed with the care my pet received from Dr Lehay and her staff. My bird was very sick and they did a thorough examination, made good recommendations and appropriate referrals. Our bird would not have survived this illness if we had not gone in to see them. They are very professional, knowledgeable and the hospital space is fantastic. I had to use this vet in an emergency situation. I would have paid them anything, as I couldn't get in with the other vets I have used in the past. They charged me the exact price that I was quoted, and through researching afterward, I discovered it was the lowest price.
They had to put my dog down, and they were kind and compassionate to both me and my dog. I have heard of vets trying to get people to consent to frivolous treatments, even when the dog is dying. These guys did no such thing.

Our female cat was in medical distress . We received excellent service and medical care at the clinic . Her recovery meant several visits to the clinic . The staff were very caring and seemed to be found of the cat . I highly recommend this clinic .

They have new management at the Lynn Valley store. The fish room has been rebuilt with over 50 tanks of fish. They have also brought back all the birds, rodents, kitten, and they also have cute little puppies. It now a real pet store.

I loved the care and compassion of the staff and the vet the most, but was also impressed by how clean this hospital is - cleaner than any Vet I've seen before. The prices are fair and they followed up about my Lucy after she had healed. They are also patient and flexible about rebooking appointments or booking at short notice. Me and Lucy are totally impressed :)

The Vet and staff of this Animal Clinic is phenomenal. My boy was sick and finally lost his battle. It was traumatic for me but the Vet and her staff called me to check up on my fur baby even through the holidays. They treated him and myself so tenderly and compassionately.
I highly recommend them in caring for your fur babies needs and care. Thank you so much Doctor and the staff...I shall never forget your kindness through such a traumatic time!

I was looking for a vet in Vancouver that had experience with Sphynx cats, and found 1st Ave. was quite knowledgeable regarding Sphynx; Sphynx have a few different needs from other cats.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very down to earth. The equipment is great (love the X Ray machine). It's clear they are all pet lovers.
Dr. Dhunna is a very nice vet who takes his time and LISTENS. He has excellent knowledge and skills.
I recommend them highly!
