Just had dinner at the bistro and it was fantastic. The service was great and the waitress was very helpful and answered all the questions we had about the menu and drinks. She was very personable and made the evening very enjoyable. The food was fantastic. We had the crab and shrimp cakes and bruschetta for appetizers which were great. All four of our entrees were hot, flavourful and delicious. We had two pasta dishes, lamb chops and a chicken dish which were all delightful. We were able to substitute sides without a problem or fuss from the waitress. We also had two desserts which were also fantastic. I have been to the bistro now four times and very time I have had something different and it has always been great. No complaints about anything. Great evening and atmosphere with a fantastic meal. Butternut squash soup was tasty, grilled shrimp had a nice kick (from the chili oil), hand-made gnocchi was surprisingly light (a great appetizer that was a special of that night), grilled beets with spiced pecans and goat cheese was unusual yet delightful, lamb shanks (also a special that night) was tender but the sauce was quite overwhelming, and of course, the maple cheesecake was delicious (yet not too sweet). Overall, we felt the food, service, price, portions and ambiance was perfect. Duane (our server and the manager) is entertaining and knowledgeable with wine pairings. Ryan is a terrific chef and it's obvious that he puts much care when preparing the food. We look forward to dining at Mamo Bistro again soon. Lire plus

Ordered a burger through "Just Eats". Delivery was prompt although I found the cost for it a bit steep ($7). I ordered a "Juicy Lucy" and it was amazing. Messy but great taste (but then, aren't all burgers messy?). Had a small Greek salad on the side. Quite a variety of fresh greens with a vinaigrette dressing. Absolutely delicious. Lire plus
